This year's Premium Beef Bull Sale will be held at the Beautiful Plains Ag Complex in Neepawa, MB. starting at 1:00PM on March 14, 2007. The catalogue can be viewed in pdf format here.
We have our entire herd on the Pfizer Gold program, so the bulls have had all their required shots. We are also on the T.H.E. Simmental so we were able to DNA igenity profile all of our sale bulls and the bulls at home. This will be a great tool if you are selling calves to the feedlot or even feeding out calves. Profile includes tenderness, coat color, meat traits (fat thickness, rib eye area, hot carcass weight, yield grade). This is a new program that could enhance our genetics and improve our cow herd operations if we use the technology available with this system.
We are happy to be working with Transcon Livestock and the other consignors of this sale.
